ENTRIES: No postal entries. Please book on line. For web help please see the Help Panel on the home page. Pleasure only entries on the day may be available if ride not full (CASH only at £20 member, £25 non-members.

VENUE TYPE: Hard standing car park. Please clean up after yourself and your horse.

FACILITIES: No water or toilets available in car park

RIDE DETAILS: The ride passes right through the heart of the author D H Lawrence’s countryside. Books including Lady Chatterley’s Lover and Sons and Daughters contain descriptions of this varied and beautiful landscape. You will ride through pretty villages, across to Felley. The views from the top of the hill are gorgeous and you will also get a glimpse of Annesley Hall and Felley Priory in the distance. You will pass through woods, through a small ford for a splash about, along multi user tracks and have a chance to blast round a field or two. This ride does have road work including a bus route, however local drivers are generally considerate..
